This post is for those porters who have facing
bug after successful boot into custom rom
BUG FIXING
Here is few most encountered bugs after porting
and their solutions.
(If you get any more bugs and solutions please
let me know. I will add them here. It will be
helpful for all.)




These r 

the 

solutions:-

1. FOR NETWORK RELATED ISSUES (3G)
Replace from /etc folder, mddb then replace
agps_profiles_conf, apns-conf,epo_conf, spn-
conf, virtual-spn-conf-by-efpnn, virtual-spn-conf-
by-efspn, virtual-spn-conf-by-imsi
2. FOR WIFI TOGGLE PROBLEM
Replace wide-dhcpv6, wifi in /etc folder
3. FOR INTERNAL / EXTERNAL MEMORY NOT
MOUNT PROBLEM
Replace vold.fstab from /etc folder
4. FOR HIGH AUDIO VOLUME ISSUE
Replace libcustom_nvram.sofrom /lib
5. FOR CAMERA NOT CONNECTED ISSUE /
CAMERA GREEN / CAMERA FORCE CLOSE
"unfortunately camera has stopped"
Replace first libcamdrv.so (needed for 6582
devices) and check if not success then replace
libcameraservice.so from/lib. If still not success
then keep on replacing one file at a time and
check.
Camera problem is the one major bug in this type
of porting. You have to have patience. This will
take half of your energy.
6. FOR AUDIO NOT COMING IN LOUDSPEAKER
MODE
Replace libaudio.primary.default.sofrom /lib
If still sound related problem:
Replace all libaud*.so
Sometimes replacing all audio files give you a
boot loop in that case replace only
libaudio.a2dp.default.so
libaudio.primary.default.so
libaudiocompensationfilter.so
libaudiocustparam.so
libaudiosetting.so
libaudioutils.so
7. FOR FLASH LIGHT NOT COMING FROM
CAMERA
Replace libfeatureio.so from /lib
8. FOR FM PROBLEM
Replace from /lib/module folder mtk_fm_drv.ko
9. TO FIX GPS
Replace from/lib/module folder mtk_stp_gps.ko
10. TO FIX COMPASS
Replace libsensorservice.so from /lib
11. TO FIX VIDEO SHOWING PIXELS AND
GLITCHES
Replace libvcodecdrv.so from /lib
12. SHOWING WRONG RAM INFO IN TASK
MANAGER
Don't change ro.product.device value in the
build.prop.
13. FOR GREEN CAMERA/ LAG / NO WALLPAPER /
NO STATUS BAR (IMPORTANT FILE FOR MT6582)
Replace libdpframework.so from lib folder
14. PROBLEM WITH 2G/3G SWITCH
Open Dialer and type *#*#4636#*#*
If a Pop Up appears go to Phone Information and
choose your preferred network type.
15. PROBLEM DOWNLOADING EPO
Replace in framework folder
mediatek-common.jar
mediatek-framework.jar
mediatek-op.jar
mediatek-telephony-common.jar
16. ANY RESOLUTION PROBLEM
Add this line to build.prop
ro.sf.lcd_density=your phone screen dpi
ex- ro.sf.lcd_density=480 for FHD devices
17. SOME KEYS NOT WORKING
Replace keylayout folder under /usr. If still not
work then replace the whole /usr folder.
18. TOUCH SCREEN PROBLEM
(Sometimes screen behaves weird ..means for
example if you touch bottom left effect on top
right ...almost opposite response)
Replace libinput.so from /system/lib folder.
19. BOOTLOOP ON HDC CLONES
Replace libsync.so from /system/lib folder.
20. WIFI TETHERING PROBLEM
Replace dnsmasq from /bin folder.
21. SCREEN IS UPSIDE DOWN
In build.prop find this line
ro.sf.hwrotation=0
change the value 0 to 180.
ro.sf.hwrotation=180
22. Problem with Proximity Sensor
Replace nvram.so, nvram_platform.so,
nvram_daemon_callback.so
23. For inverted touch
Replace libinput.so from system/lib

Port Rom(Stock base)

Guyzz today m gonna tell u how can u port
Roms to Fire2 without pc....

It is not for color os, lewa os, emui and miui
coz for that u need to edit boot.img which
requires pc..


It is very easy to port roms of same chipset and
android version...


Requirements-
1. Root Explorer app.
2. Knowledge of Extracting/Compressing zip n
using Root Explorer app.
3. Any app to compress or extract zip files.
4. A very little brain  :-P 



Which Rom to port:-
1. You can only port Roms of that phone which
has mt6582 chipset & android version 4.4.2

  -Do it at ur own risk-


NOW LETS START--

1. download any working custom rom of Fire 2 or Stock Rom.
2. Download the rom which u wanna port.
3. Extract both of them (i wont say how to
extract).
4. Rename ur phone's rom as stock or base or
any othr n the rom which u will port as port
rom.
5. Open Root Explorer.
6. Open stock rom in one tab and port rom in
another.
7. Copy boot.img from stock and paste and
replace it to port rom.
8. Open System folder of both rom and delete
vendor folder from port rom, then copy vendor
folder from stock and paste it to
Port rom
In this way , open lib folder of both roms and
delete hw, modules folder and then copy these
folder from stock to port.
Now, open etc folder in both romz then delete
wifi, bluetooth, firmware folders and then copy
these folders from stock to port...
9. Open bin folder of both and copy pq and
vold files and paste and replace it to port rom
10. Open lib folder of both romz , go to stock
and copy these files-
libaudio.primary.default.so
libcamalgo.so
libcamdrv.so
libcameracustom.so
libdpframework.so
libsensorservice.so
libsync.so
libvcodecdrv.so
And then paste and replace these to port rom..
11. Go to etc folder in both roms open
permissions folder copy platform.xml and
handheld_core_hardware.xml and paste n
replace it to port rom
12. Go to usr folder, open keylayout in both
rom , copy generic.kl from stock and paste n
replace it to port rom
13. Open built.prop with text editor change
device name and porter name
You're done
Now compress that ported rom in zip n flash it
via recovery..

Procedure:-

•   Download & Place in your sd card.
•   Boot into recovery.
•  Simply flash it
•   Done..!!

  4)      Gmail V5.0.1.

 5)      Google Now launcher V1.1,0.

 6)      Google keyboard V3.1.20.

 8)      Youtube V6.0.13.

 9)      Google text-to-speech engine V3.3.13.

 10)  Face unlock V4.4,4.

 11)  Cyanogen clock widget V3.4.0.

 13)  Google Calendar V5.0.15

 14)  Google Drive V2.1.495

Note:-

·         Don't added google + & hangouts.

·         U have to manually update apps to lattest.

·         If any app force closes then delete that app ....

Add Name On Statusbar

**Add Name on statusbar**

What u need:→

1. ·         A rooted phone.
2. ·         Xposed installer installed(framework updated).
3. ·         EX-Themer.
4. ·         A little bit Mind.

How to:-

1. §  Download & install xposed and EX-themer(links r given below).                                                 
2. §  Open xposed installer,Go to modules √ xthemer.
   
3. §  Then back & go to framework ,here tap install/update,Grant root permission & reboot.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. §  Now open EX-themer,Tap statusbar mods thenstatusbar clock tweak & mod,Here u can see Clock settings at bottom√ all in clock setting & add a custom text {your name} (i.e ♥Sípùn♥).Then back to main menu of EX-themer ,Tap restart systemUI & Grant root permission..
